PERSONAL
Born: San Francisco, CA
Raised: Tiburon, CA. High school at Fountain Valley School in Colorado Springs. Off to New York attending Skidmore College, and then to the other coast to complete her degree at UC Santa Barbara.
Fun Laura Fact: Played Varsity Ice Hockey and Field Hockey in college. I wanted to be a modern dancer in NYC, and later an economist.
Motivation: I’m an extremely passionate (and compassionate) person, and it shows in everything I do.
Other dream job: Interior designer
Personal Statement: I love business. I love numbers. I love the complexity of different media channels and how they interact with one another. I enjoy people, sales, creative negotiation, and pulling it all together for a client. I thrive on creating and maintaining lasting, meaningful and win-win relationships. I get a lot of satisfaction out of positively impacting a client’s growth. In addition to loving my work, the most important part of my life is my family. I also have an insatiable need to travel the world.

With over 40 years of experience in the industry, Laura is well known for her established industry relationships and ability to get even the toughest projects implemented. For over 32 years, she has been planning, creating and negotiating media plans for the agency’s diverse clients, purchasing well over $150M locally, regionally and nationally. As owner and President of the company, she is also responsible for the management of the company, from sales and financials to staffing, and everything in between. She is proud of the solid team that CCMedia has become and looks forward to adding new clients to CCMedia’s roster.
Prior to founding CCMedia (previously named Creative Concepts) in 1991, Laura worked at radio stations in New York, Santa Barbara, and Reno. She has held positions of General Sales Manager, Advertising Consultant, News Director, Public Service Director and even disc jockey.
Before setting out to become the best media buyer in Reno, and having the most effective and sought-after media buying agency in the region, Laura worked in sales, promotions, training, market research, copywriting, production, and live voice work. She’s a certified radio and digital marketing consultant through the Radio Advertising Bureau, and is also certified in Arbitron’s PPM Market Research and Ratings program, and has a social media certificate from UNR.
Laura is past president of the Reno Tahoe Entrepreneurs Organization (EORT) and remains an active member, as well as a coach for the Accelerator program. She’s a board member of the Villages at Mauna Lani, past-president of the Tahoe Forest Hospital Foundation, past VP of the Truckee Donner Chamber of Commerce, a founding member of the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation Queen of Hearts fund, and a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara with a BA in Business and Economics.

Fun fact about Ally: I am reliving my youth through my boys and their sports. I love every minute we spend watching them grow into awesome human beings, friends and team players.
Best thing about the media world? Building relationships with our diverse client base and getting them the best deal possible.

While working 10 years at the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, Ally was actively involved in branding Reno-Tahoe as “America’s Adventure Place” and later with the “Far From Expected” campaigns. She’s managed and marketed facilities and events such as the National Bowling Stadium and the Reno Events Center, and has worked on the production side of the Reno-Tahoe Adventure Show television series that aired in the Bay Area.
Ally recevied a certificate for Advanced Leadership Academy with the University of Nevada, Reno Extended Studies, Ally studied child development at Oregon State. In her off time, Ally is running around watching her boys play sports, she enjoyes pilates, walking, the ocean and traveling.

Kristin works with the placement and creative trafficking of clients’ television, radio, print and outdoor media schedules. An expert on the media buying Strata system, Kristin manages and tracks client spending, return on investment, and ensuring the client invoice process is seamless.
Kristin has more than 25 years of professional experience in the advertising industry. Prior to working for CCMedia, she worked for MeringCarson in Sacramento.
At MeringCarson, Kristin worked with clients Visit California, San Diego Tourism Authority, Thunder Valley Resort Casino, Raley’s/Bel Air/Nob Hill grocery stores, Auto Club Speedway, Papa Murphy’s and Sutter Health.
In her time off, Kristin is a mother of two active young men, and enjoys running, snowshoeing, traveling and spending time with her family.

Taylor handles both traditional and digital media buys for CCMedia clients. A local to the Reno-Tahoe area, she first started pursuing media when working for the University of Nevada’s school magazine. From there, she started exploring other media avenues such as social media marketing and website development. She got her career start interning at a local Reno agency where she was introduced to media buying and fell in love with it.
Taylor has purchased media for casinos, restaurants, retail stores, non-profits, and automotive companies. Taylor understands the significant impact media has on the success of a business and enjoys being part of the media decision-making process.
Outside of work, Taylor loves to hike in Tahoe and explore local breweries.
