Fun Laura Fact:  Played Varsity Ice Hockey and Field Hockey in college.  Wanted to be a modern dancer in NYC, and later an economist.

Motivation:  I’m an extremely passionate person, and it shows in everything I do.

Personal Statement:  I love business. I love numbers. I love the complexity of different media channels and how they interact with one another. I enjoy people, sales, creative negotiation, and pulling it all together for a client.  I thrive on creating and maintaining lasting relationships. I get a lot of satisfaction out of positively impacting a client’s growth.

With 33 years of experience, Laura is well known for her established industry relationships and ability to get even the toughest projects implemented.

Prior to founding Creative Concepts in 1991, Laura worked at radio stations in New York, Santa Barbara, and Reno. She has held positions of General Sales Manager, Advertising Consultant, News Director, Public Service Director and even disc jockey.

Before setting out to become the best media buyer in Reno, Laura has worked in sales, promotions, training, market research, copy writing, production, and live voice work.  She’s a certified radio and digital marketing consultant through the Radio Advertising Bureau, and is also certified in Arbitron’s PPM Market Research and Ratings program.

Laura is past president of the Reno Tahoe Entrepreneurs Organization (EORT) and sits on the advisory board of BiggestLittleCity.org.  She’s a board member of the Villages at Mauna Lani Resort, past-president of Tahoe Forest Hospital Foundation, past VP of the Truckee Donner Chamber of Commerce, a founding member of the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation Queen of Hearts fund, and a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara with a BA in Business and Economics.

Ally Hutson

Fun fact about Ally:  I am reliving my youth through my boys and their sports. I love every minute we spend watching them grow into awesome human beings, friends and team players.

Ally develops and implements media plans for print, TV, and outdoor advertising. With more than 15 years in marketing and media in the Reno-Tahoe area, Ally knows the local market and its unique characteristics. If Laura isn’t the best media buyer in Reno it’s because of Ally. 

While working 10 years at the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, Ally was actively involved in branding Reno-Tahoe as “America’s Adventure Place” and later with the “Far From Expected” campaigns.  

She’s managed and marketed facilities and events such as the National Bowling Stadium and the Reno Events Center, and has worked on the production side of the Reno-Tahoe Adventure Show television series that aired in the Bay Area.

Ally sits on the board of the Spanish Springs Cal Ripken Baseball League, and is a certified digital media consultant by the Radio Advertising Bureau. She recently received Arbitron’s PPM Certification in Market Research and Ratings.  Ally studied child development at Oregon State.

Peter directs all digital advertising for CCMedia, including programmatic buying through DoubleClick by Google, email marketing, mobile strategy, digital radio, SEO, SEM, video and social media.  This includes digital media planning, strategy and optimizations, and Google Analytics reporting insights.

With nearly 10 years of marketing experience, Peter has a proven track record of success in media buying, brand management, project management and marketing analysis and strategy development. Prior to joining the CCMedia team, Peter managed the Marketing & Sales program at Sugar Bowl Resort and Royal Gorge Cross Country. In 2009, Peter earned an MBA with a Marketing emphasis from San Diego State University, and if you ask him, you will learn he loves ‘All Things Marketing’.

When he’s not working with clients on winning media plans, you’ll see Peter mountain biking, skiing, and enjoying the beautiful Reno/Tahoe Area with his wife and 2 dogs.

Kristin works with clients’ television, radio, print and outdoor media schedules. An expert on the media buying Strata system, Kristin manages and tracks client spending return on investment, ensuring the client invoice process is seamless.  

Kristin has more than 18 years of professional experience in the advertising industry. Prior to working for ccmedia, she worked for MeringCarson in Sacramento.

At MeringCarson, Kristin worked with clients Visit California, San Diego Tourism Authority, Thunder Valley Resort Casino, Raley’s Bel Air Nob Hill grocery stores, Auto Club Speedway, Papa Murphy’s and Sutter Health. 

In her time off, Kristin is a mother of two active boys, and enjoys running, snowshoeing and spending time with her family.

With a focus of marketing and management in college, David has had a utility role with ccmedia since 2014.

David’s main focus is in sales. Whether it is homeowner magazine ads, special projects, or the pursuit of new, great clients, David is constantly on the lookout for potential businesses that can benefit from ccmedia’s services.

Starting as a valet right out of college, David quickly was promoted to be one of the youngest managers at a local Hotel Spa Casino. After pursuing his career in baseball, David started his own business and opened a indoor baseball facility with a partner in 2013. David now spends his days bringing a fun and optimistic attitude to ccmedia, and his nights coaching youth baseball and giving private instruction to any aspiring baseball player.

She implements and tracks our digital campaigns and provides monthly reporting and campaign recaps to clients, providing insights and recommendations to make campaigns stronger and more focused.

Her professional background consists of digital marketing, media sales, promotions, and graphic design. In her off time, you can find her on the rink, in her studio, or out exploring the great outdoors.
